My 20% project will be on the best goals in football history. They can be penalties, free kicks or just normal goals. Here is one of the most amazing free kicks ever taken in history, in my opinion.
This is a clip from Brazil Against France in 1997. Robert Carlos gets the free kick and scores from a very long range. The really amazing thing about this goal is about the curve, if you watch the whole video you can see it.

Roberto Carlos
Born: 10th April, 1973, Brazil.
Position: Defensive Midfielder

The second most amazing goal is also a free kick. Here it is.

This second free kick was done by Jimmy Hasslebanik. The shot was said to go up to 230 mph which is an incredible speed. The free kick is not really the amazing part but it is the distance and the power together that make it such a good free kick.

Jimmy Floyd Hasslebaink
Born: 27th March, 1972
Position: Striker
Extra: Scored more than 250 career goals

The third goal was done by Alexander Pato.

This goal was truly amazing. Pato succeeds in scoring in the first 24 seconds against FC Barcelona.

  Alexandre Pato
Born: 2nd September, 1989
Position: Striker
Extra: His nickname, Pato, is from his birth place

This goal was another free kick done by C. Ronaldo. This game was Manchester united against Europe 11.

Cristiano Ronaldo
Born: 5th February, 1985
Position: Winger or Striker
Extra: He is worth 80 million pounds

Most of these goals can be considered as luck. Many people would consider the free kicks as luck, and they can be, the free kicks that i chose, i find, are 50-50. This is mostly because of the range at they were taken. Other goals like the one from Pato is mostly skill and just mistakes from the defense. So the question is that should they be called the best goals if they are only lucky?

In the end, the best goal of the premier league was awarded to Wayne Rooney whilst playing again Manchester City in February 2011. Rooney's goal was the last of the game and it was a overhead volley kick. Rooney's goal won with 26% of the public vote, beating Bergkamp's goal against Newcastle into second place with 19%, and Henry's strike for Arsenal against Manchester United into third place with 15%.

Although, the goal of the year (Puskas Award) was awarded to Neymar. The game was Santos against Flamengo. Neymars goal was very very excellent.
